Linking to Named Anchors Practice

1. From File, create a new document.
2. Save as anchorprac.htm.
3. Title the file as Linking to Anchors Practice Page.
4. Open the anchorstext.htm file from the Text folder.
5. Insert an anchor before the content area heading "Alaska Vacations". ***Make sure you have not positioned the insertion point in the navigation area.***
6. Name the anchor.
7. Using the Link text box in the Property Inspector, create a link from "Alaska Vacations" in the navigation area to the anchor. Don't forget to type the # sign before the anchor name in the Link text box.
8. Save and preview in browser.
9. Insert, name, and link anchors for "Big Sky Country - Glacier Adventure" and "Montana Mountain Bike" headings in the content area from the appropriate headings in the in the navigation area.
10. Save and preview in browser. Check out those links!!!
11. Insert an anchor before "Alaska Vacations" in the navigation area.
12. Name the anchor.
13. Using the Point to File icon, link the before "Alaska Vacations" in the content area back to "Alaska Vacations" in the navigation area.
14. Save and preview in browser
15. Link the remaining 's in the content area back to the appropriate headings in the navigation area.
16. Save and preview in browser. Check out those links!!!
