  2. In the Property Inspector , click the folder icon to the right of the Link text box.

The Select File dialog box appears.

3. Locate the file to be linked and click Select. The filename appears in the Link text box.
4. Save file and preview in browser.

To create a link to an external Web site:

  1. Select the word, phrase, or image within a document to be hyperlinked.
  2. In the Property Inspector, type the complete URL for the website to be linked in the Link text box.
  3. It is optional, but suggested that the external link be targeted by selecting _blank from the Target pop-up menu on the Property Inspector. Using this option causes the linked site to load in a new browser window. This can be done for linked documents and files as well, but is recommended specifically for linked external websites. Use caution when opening new browser windows. New windows impose extra RAM requirements on the user's computer as each window is opened.
  4. Save file and preview in browser.
