Being one of the HSTA curriculum coordinators for the past 5 years has been an incredible learning experience for me. The HSTA philosophy is close to my heart, and when I need a professional energy boost, I have been able to reflect on all that HSTA is doing for the many young students in West Virginia.

Planning and conducting professional development with the HSTA teachers is a large part of my job. Teachers in today's schools are open to new ideas, and welcome the new computer technology and teaching skills that HSTA has been able to offer them:

Power Point Inspiration Concept Mapping Dreamweaver Web Authoring
Problem-Based Learning Multicultural Education in Science Teaching
Coming soon!!! Student Portfolios Coming soon!!!

The relationship between HSTA faculty and teachers is crucial:

Teachers are the most important resource for successful HSTA programming.
