- - Curriculum Coordinator, Health Sciences Technology Academy (HSTA), Morgantown, WV, 1997-present. Assist teachers and students in the HSTA program to enrich their science curriculum in classrooms and after-school science clubs.
- Coordinator of Interactions with Energy Project Workshop, Morgantown, WV, Summer-1997. Developed a workshop for teachers in WV to use inquiry and research-based investigations at the elementary level which are aligned with the National Standards and the WV State Framwork.
- Research Associate, West Virginia Univ., Morgantown, WV, 1996-1997. Project facilitator for the Interactions with Energy Project. Designing and teaching a pilot 9th grade science curriculum which incorporates energy themes into an integrated and thematic science curriculum.
- After School Science Instructor, Perry Elementary, Mt. Morris, PA, 1996-present. Science instructor for an after-school science club focusing on inquiry and hands-on activities for 3rd through 5th graders.

student research and chemical applications in the Morgantown community. Funded by a TAPESTRY
grant from the National Science Teacher's Association.
- Laboratory Assistant, West Virginia Univ. Morgantown, WV, 1989-1990. Maintained cultures of a fungal pathogen of Chestnut, Cryphonectria parasitica, and assisted in various field and lab studies.
- Graduate Research Assistant, Univ. of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA, 1986-1988. Designed various molecular cloning techniques for RNA and DNA manipulation of the fungal plant pathogen Collectotrichum laginerium.
