About My Portfolio
I am a science education faculty member in the College of Human Resources, West Virginia University, with concurrent responsibilities as a curriculum coordinator for the Health Sciences and Technology Academy (HSTA), Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center. The contents of this portfolio showcase my best contributions to HSTA in three capacities: (a) as a provider of HSTA Teacher Professional Development; (b) as a resource for HSTA Community Club Experiences; and (c) as faculty for HSTA Summer Institutes. A theme throughout my portfolio is "concept map as a versatile tool in education." Some of the images and diagrams that appear in my portfolio were constructed using Inspiration® software.
About Concept Maps in My Portfolio
Here is a concept map that illustrates portfolio
basics. Most of the concept maps illustrated in my portfolio also are
available to download and view as "Inspiration® files." The
Inspiration files often provide additional information through clickable
